Business Intelligence (BI) Developer – Tableau
Location: Remote (US) EST/CST
About the Role:
We’re partnering with a leading manufacturing organization to find a highly skilled BI Developer with advanced Tableau expertise, who can combine technical mastery in Tableau with a strong understanding of shop floor operations and manufacturing language.
The successful candidate will work closely with plant managers, operations teams, and finance to develop dashboards that provide real-time visibility into production performance, supply chain metrics, and operational KPIs. If you know your way around SLA adherence, scrap rates, throughput, and manufacturing claims, and can translate this into actionable Tableau dashboards, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards for manufacturing and operational teams.
- Integrate predictive models and analytics outputs into dashboards for forecasting and operational planning.
- Translate complex operational data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with plant managers, supply chain, and finance teams to define KPIs and measure performance.
- Mentor and guide junior analysts on data visualization and BI best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong Tableau development skills (Desktop, Server, advanced visualizations).
- Experience working with manufacturing or production operations data.
- Comfortable speaking the language of production, supply chain, and shop floor operations.
- SQL expertise; Python or R experience a plus.
- Experience integrating data from ERP, MES, or production reporting systems.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder communication skills.
