About The Role

We are seeking a talented and passionate Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team at GIGABIT Technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing intuitive and visually appealing portal user interfaces, including landing pages and user journeys, utilizing reusable components to ensure consistency and efficiency. You will work closely with backend teams to consume governed APIs, managing application state and error handling robustly to provide a seamless user experience. Additionally, the role involves integrating authentication and authorization mechanisms, such as tokens, sessions, and role-based access controls, in accordance with CIAM standards, session management, protected routes, and redirects. Your contributions will be crucial in creating reliable, high-performing web applications, supported by comprehensive testing—unit, integration, and basic end-to-end—to ensure stability and quality. Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in frontend development with proficiency in TypeScript and React or Next.js. Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) is essential, along with a solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques. Candidates should have a good grasp of error handling, JWT/session management, and security best practices. Familiarity with version control systems like Git, basic CI/CD pipelines, and debugging skills are also required. A proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to new technologies, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills are highly valued. A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent practical experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

Implement portal UI components that are reusable and maintainable, ensuring consistency across the platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend developers and UI/UX designers, to deliver seamless user experiences. Consume and integrate governed APIs efficiently, handling application state and errors gracefully to maintain stability and performance. Implement authentication and authorization features, including token management, session handling, and role-based access control, ensuring security and compliance with CIAM standards. Develop and execute comprehensive tests—unit, integration, and basic end-to-end—to identify and resolve issues proactively. Support the stabilization and continuous improvement of the platform through code reviews, documentation, and adherence to best practices. Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies and industry trends to enhance the application's functionality and user experience.
