Job Description

We are looking for Cloud Engineer for a client involved in the management of external borders.

Tasks

• Administering and monitoring enterprise cloud environments, including subscriptions, identities, and resource management.
• Monitoring and reporting on cloud resource utilisation and consumption.
• Preparing, updating, and maintaining reports, workflows, policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
• Provisioning and de-provisioning development environments and DevOps projects.
• Providing 2nd line support to application development teams for cloud services and coordinating with 3rd line support.
• Participating in coordination and project meetings.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of IT-relevant professional experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Required mid-level certification in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Eligibility to obtain an EU personal security clearance, valid from the first day of assignment.
• University degree at EQF Level 6 (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
• Proven professional experience in cloud engineering or a comparable role.
• Technical knowledge of enterprise cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud) including identity, networking, compute, storage, containers, databases, and analytics.
• Experience in building and operating cloud services (compute, storage, networking).
• Strong scripting and programming skills (PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, Go, Bash).
• Experience with Linux administration and scripting (preferably Red Hat).
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and Infrastructure as a Service concepts.
