We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Engineering with a strong background in CNC machining, precision manufacturing, metal stamping, and product development. This individual will lead all engineering operations, oversee new product development, support business growth initiatives, and collaborate directly with customers to develop innovative manufacturing solutions.
The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise, manufacturing leadership, customer-facing experience, and strategic business insight.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all engineering and manufacturing engineering operations across the organization.
- Drive new product development initiatives from concept through production launch.
- Partner directly with customers to develop product designs, manufacturing processes, and technical solutions.
- Support quoting, cost estimation, and business development activities for new and existing customers.
- Manage and mentor engineering, design, and manufacturing teams while fostering collaboration across departments.
- Oversee CNC machining, metal stamping, tooling, and manufacturing process optimization initiatives.
- Utilize SolidWorks and related engineering tools to support product design and manufacturability improvements.
- Implement continuous improvement, automation, lean manufacturing, and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, and applicable industry regulations.
- Develop engineering budgets, timelines, staffing plans, and strategic operational goals.
- Work closely with executive leadership to align engineering initiatives with company growth objectives.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of engineering leadership experience within CNC machining, precision manufacturing, metal stamping, or related industries.
- Strong expertise in CNC manufacturing processes and manufacturing operations leadership.
- Experience with SolidWorks design and product development.
- Proven experience working directly with customers on product development, design modifications, and manufacturability.
- Strong leadership background managing engineering and cross-functional manufacturing teams.
- Experience driving process improvements, lean manufacturing, automation, and production optimization.
- Strong understanding of quoting, cost analysis, and manufacturing feasibility.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
