Senior Cloud Operations Lead

The Role

• Spearhead the launch of a new European Sovereign Cloud initiative in 2025.

• Build and lead operations and development teams focused on high-availability cloud services for EU customers.

• Collaborate with global teams to influence the evolution of cloud services and technology.

• Enhance day-to-day operations, focusing on availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency.

• Occasionally participate in on-call rotations to resolve incidents.

• Ensure the delivery of scalable services and a high-availability experience for EU customers.

What You'll Need

• Fluency in written and spoken English.

• EU member state nationality and residency within the EU is required.

• Deep systems engineering experience, including hardware, software, networking, and operating systems.

• Proficient scripting in languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.

• Deep expertise in Linux and networking, with advanced system diagnostics and troubleshooting capabilities.

• Proven ability to lead the creation and improvement of operational procedures and best practices.
