About This Role

As a QA Engineer on our team, you will lead manual testing across the LUXY platform, from booking and dispatch through partner tools and the LUXY Ride App. You will own the quality bar that protects the experience our customers and partners depend on, and you will use AI-assisted tools to widen coverage and sharpen analysis.

What You Will Do

• Design, plan, and execute manual test cases across the web and mobile surfaces of the LUXY platform.
• Identify, document, and track defects in JIRA with the clarity engineering needs to fix them quickly.
• Validate end-to-end user flows including booking, payment, dispatch, partner workflows, and the trip lifecycle.

• Use AI-assisted testing tools daily to expand test coverage, accelerate defect triage, and improve the clarity of your documentation.
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and designers throughout the development cycle.
• Own testing standards, regression coverage, and release verification across product teams.
• Triage production issues quickly and partner with engineering on root-cause analysis.
• Help drive continuous improvement of QA practices, test coverage, and tooling.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in manual software testing, ideally for production web or mobile applications.
• Strong working knowledge of JIRA or comparable defect tracking tools.
• Solid understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and the defect lifecycle.
• Demonstrated experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Working knowledge of AI-assisted development and testing tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini, or comparable platforms. This is required, not preferred. We expect AI fluency as part of how you work.
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to break down complex flows into testable scenarios.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative working style.
• Fluent written and verbal English. Required regardless of location.

Bonus Points

• Working knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium with Java.
• Experience testing multi-platform applications across web and mobile.
• Familiarity with API testing and back-end validation.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
• Basic SQL skills for test data validation.
• Existing AI workflows you have built to accelerate test design, defect triage, or regression coverage.
