Our client is a fast-growing Open Banking infrastructure company operating at the heart of European financial services. They build the technology that connects banks, fintechs, and businesses — transforming complex regulatory frameworks into simple, scalable products. Backed by a strong engineering culture and a clear product vision, they're at an exciting stage of growth where this hire will have real influence from day one.
This is a high-autonomy Product Owner position — you'll own the roadmap, not just manage a backlog. Reporting directly to the CTO, you'll act as a strategic bridge across Core and Checkout teams, working on bank coverage, categorisation, and AI-powered products that matter. The role is fully remote within Europe, with occasional travel to Norway (~once a month).
What you'll own
- Strategic roadmapping — define goals, success metrics, and an 18–24 month roadmap approved by leadership
- End-to-end ownership — from ideation and development through to launch and long-term growth
- Technical partnership — engage directly with engineers on architecture, APIs, and technical debt
- Cross-functional collaboration — work with KYC, Legal, Commercial, and client-facing teams

What we're looking for
- 3+ years in FinTech, Payments, or Open Banking
- 3+ years managing technical products (APIs, distributed systems, ML/data platforms)
- Proven track record of building and launching products from scratch
- Solid understanding of PSD2 or global Open Banking standards
- Exceptional written and verbal English; confident presenting to leadership
- Nice to have: Nordics experience, B2B2C background, or a Nordic language
