Job Description

Company Description

LumiStrain is a Houston-based deep-tech startup and Rice University spinout developing the next-generation non-contact optical strain sensing technology for structural testing and health monitoring applications. Our Strain Sensing Smart Skin (S4) uses carbon nanotube(CNT)-based sensing films and optical imaging to provide fast, high-resolution, full-field 2D strain measurements. We are an early-stage, mission-driven team working at the intersection of advanced materials, optics, experimental mechanics, and structural engineering. Our goal is to make structure safer, smarter and easier to maintain through better sensing technology.
