Job Description
Company Description
Monumental is a rapidly growing indie game developer and publisher founded in 2020. We operate a growing portfolio of unique games and gaming franchises and have carved out a niche as a team that deeply understands and is passionate about games. From the Coin Dozer and Merge Zoo franchises (Game Circus) to Animation Throwdown and Bit Heroes (Kongregate), every title in our portfolio reflects that passion.
In recent years, Monumental has expanded its portfolio through the acquisitions of both Game Circus and Kongregate. These additions brought together a diverse catalog of mobile and web titles, including the Kongregate.com portal, further expanding our reach in the indie gaming space. It’s an exciting moment to join us, and this role sits right at the center of it.

While the role will initially focus on supporting the Star Trek community, responsibilities may shift or expand based on company needs across different titles and initiatives.Â
We’re looking for someone who enjoys building communities, is comfortable working across multiple teams, and is excited by the opportunity to turn a blank canvas into a thriving, engaged player base.

- Balance hands-on community management with longer-term planning, helping evolve the community as the game grows.
- Design and execute engaging community experiences and activations (events, campaigns, giveaways, dev Q&As, etc.) that drive growth, participation, and retention.
- Help develop and maintain community guidelines and moderation standards, contributing to a safe, inclusive, and respectful player environment.
- Gather and share player sentiment and feedback, helping ensure community insights are surfaced to internal teams and reflected in decision-making.
- Identify and surface emerging issues that could impact game health or player experience, including player unrest, exploits, technical issues, and reported bugs and escalate them appropriately.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with player experience, product, marketing, design, engineering, and external partners to support community initiatives and align with broader game and brand efforts.Â
- Operate within IP and brand standards for all public-facing content, partnerships, flagging anything requiring brand approval through the right channels.
- Compile community reports and insights, using data and feedback to track performance and inform future initiatives.
