🚀 What is this challenge about:

• Design and document complex integration architectures, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with enterprise standards.
• Lead the design and evolution of core Integration and Data platforms, acting as the technical authority for these foundational systems.
• Architect and oversee the modernization of legacy integrations, transitioning them into modern event-driven or API-based architectures.
• Define architectural patterns and best practices for integration microservices, ensuring consistency and maintainability across teams.
• Define and maintain the overall Enterprise Architecture strategy, ensuring its consistent application through architectural governance.
• Act as a technical leader and Subject Matter Expert for integration technologies, supporting development teams and resolving complex technical challenges.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, proposing innovative solutions while ensuring compliance with security, regulatory, and business continuity requirements.

🛠 What we are looking for:

• +5 years experience as an Integration Architect.
• Hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot microservices or similar distributed systems.
• Experience working with Kafka in an integration or event-driven architecture landscape.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
• Experience in legacy integration modernization and system replacement initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in debugging complex distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerisation technologies.
• Living in Portugal (remote role)
• Fluent level of English.
