We are seeking a Senior Systems & Infrastructure Engineer to support both Archer & Roundβs internal environment and our client environments. This role is ideal for an experienced hands-on infrastructure professional who is confident across cloud, systems administration, networking, and onsite infrastructure support coordination.
This is a fully remote, part-time role requiring availability during Australian business hours.
As the Senior Systems & Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining cloud and on-premise infrastructure environments across both internal and client systems.
The role combines systems administration, infrastructure engineering, cloud management, cybersecurity best practices, and remote operational support. You will work closely with technical and cybersecurity teams to ensure systems remain secure, reliable, scalable, and high-performing.
- Manage and maintain Windows and Linux server environments.
- Administer Active Directory, Microsoft 365, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and virtualised environments.
- Support on-premise infrastructure including servers, networking, storage, and backup systems.
- Perform patching, upgrades, maintenance, and system hardening activities.
- Maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.

- Manage and support cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments.
- Assist with cloud migrations, optimisation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Implement and maintain cloud security best practices and access controls.
- Support identity and access management across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Configure and support firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, routing, and secure network connectivity.
- Assist with security monitoring, endpoint protection, SIEM integrations, and vulnerability remediation.

- Provide remote infrastructure and technical support across client environments.

πΉ Strong experience with Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, virtualization, and networking.

πΉ Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.

- Experience with Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, VMware, or Hyper-V environments.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Azure Administrator, AWS, CCNA, Security+, CISSP, or equivalent.
- Exposure to automation, scripting, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
