This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing a membership-based website that serves a global community of bonsai enthusiasts. The platform provides magazine subscriptions, a community forum, and supports convention tourism initiatives. As the dedicated PHP Web Developer, you will collaborate remotely with an editor and brand manager, who coordinate with IT services and a volunteer Board of Directors. Your expertise will ensure the website remains robust, user-friendly, and up-to-date, supporting the ongoing growth and engagement of the community.

- Maintain and update the PHP-based website, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Implement new features and enhancements as requested by stakeholders.

- Collaborate with the editor, brand manager, and IT services to align website updates with organizational goals.
- Provide technical support and documentation for ongoing website operations.
