Job Description


We are seeking a QA Analyst to support a mission-critical inventory and operations platform within a fast-growing healthcare technology organization. This is a full-time, fully remote position working EST hours. The ideal candidate brings strong manual testing experience across frontend applications, backend systems, APIs, and complex data workflows in highly integrated environments. U.S. work authorization is required. No visa sponsorship is available at this time.

Job Title: QA Analyst, Backend/Distributed Systems

Location: Remote (EST Hours, U.S.-based only)

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive manual testing across frontend UI, backend integrations, APIs, and complex operational workflows
  • Create and execute detailed test plans and test cases validating end-to-end system behavior across integrated applications
  • Test high-volume, data-intensive systems with a focus on workflow accuracy, reliability, and business-critical functionality
  • Validate backend services, database interactions, and API responses across distributed systems and integrations
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and operational stakeholders to identify defects and ensure delivery quality
  • Participate in defect tracking, regression testing, feature validation, and overall QA process improvement initiatives
  • Advocate for quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle and contribute to a collaborative team environment

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of manual QA experience across both frontend and backend systems
  • Strong experience with test case management, test execution, and defect/bug tracking processes
  • Hands-on experience testing complex software environments involving integrated workflows, data movement, and multi-system interactions
  • Strong proficiency with UI testing, API testing, and database validation using SQL
  • Experience testing REST or SOAP APIs using tools such as Postman or similar platforms
  • Solid understanding of SDLC processes and Agile development methodologies
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with exceptional attention to detail

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 + $5,000 Annual Bonus + Full Comprehensive Benefits (Free Healthcare Insurance Premiums for singles and dependents)
  • 100% Fully Remote Opportunity, candidate must be located in the 50 US states and not require visa transfer/sponsorship

Additional Information

  • Role is 100% remote, but candidates must be based in the U.S. and available to work Eastern Time (EST) business hours
  • Candidates should be comfortable working in highly collaborative, camera-on team environments
  • Must demonstrate strong ownership of software quality and proactive engagement throughout delivery cycles
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States, and live in the united states — no visa sponsorship available
