We’re hiring an early-career Software Engineer (0–4 YOE) to join a small technical founding team building high-performance backend infrastructure from the ground up.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys low-level systems engineering, distributed systems, and solving complex real-time data problems in production environments.

What You’ll Work On

• Design and build core backend systems in Rust
• Develop infrastructure for real-time data ingestion and processing
• Build internal tooling, analytics pipelines, and testing frameworks using Rust and Python
• Own deployment, monitoring, reliability, and operational tooling for production systems
• Integrate with multiple external APIs and data providers
• Work closely with highly technical operators and engineers in a fast-moving environment with minimal process overhead

What We’re Looking For

• Experience shipping production Rust systems involving concurrency, performance optimization, or real-time workloads
• Strong backend engineering fundamentals and systems thinking
• Experience working in small teams where engineers own systems end-to-end
• Comfortable handling infrastructure, deployment, and backend ownership directly
• High-agency mindset and ability to work independently in an async-first environment

Nice to Have

• Exposure to performance-sensitive systems or real-time infrastructure
• Experience in trading, fintech, data infrastructure, networking, or distributed systems
• Background from startups or technically demanding engineering environments
• Strong CS, Math, or Engineering fundamentals
