Job Description
Company Description
Lambda Quantech builds smart sensors and an IoT platform for 24/7 methane leak surveillance and real-time emissions analytics for industrial operations. We're on a mission to help energy companies detect and reduce methane emissions with unprecedented speed and accuracy.
We're now bringing our flagship product — One-Click LDAR (Leak Detection and Repair) Platform — to the cloud, and we need a sharp developer to help us get there.
We're deliberately looking for a developer based in South America. Our London team works through the day, and we want development to keep moving while we sleep. This isn't outsourcing — it's building a follow-the-sun team where your timezone is a genuine advantage, not an afterthought.
Role Description
We have a working prototype built on Lovable (React/TypeScript front end + Supabase back end) with core UI screens and partial database structure in place. We need a developer who can jump in, understand what's been built, and take it to a production-ready state. Please check our website www.lambdaquantech.com to understand what we are building.
What You'll Do
• Review and refine existing front-end code (React/TypeScript, built with Lovable)
• Connect the front end to the Supabase database (complete CRUD operations, auth flows, real-time updates)

• Finalize and extend the database schema to support LDAR workflows
• Ensure data integrity, proper error handling, and loading states across the app
• Collaborate closely with the founder — this is a tight feedback loop, not a black-box contract
• (Nice to have) Help structure the app for future IoT sensor data ingestion
You're a Great Fit If You
• Have 2–3 years of hands-on experience with AWS, React, and TypeScript
• Are comfortable with Supabase (PostgreSQL, Row-Level Security, Edge Functions)
• Can read someone else's codebase and improve it without starting from scratch
• Care about clean, maintainable code — not just shipping fast
• Have worked on a B2B SaaS or data-heavy web app before
• Are interested in climate tech, industrial IoT, or energy sector applications
