The Role

Join our engineering team as a DevOps Engineer to keep our cloud infrastructure running smoothly and securely. This remote role lets you work from anywhere in England, with occasional virtual team syncs. You'll bridge development and operations to deploy updates faster and more reliably.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain cloud setups (like GCP) to support our payment apps.
• Automate deployments using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Terraform for quick, error-free releases.
• Monitor systems with tools like Prometheus or Grafana to spot and fix issues before they hit users.
• Ensure top-notch security for sensitive payment data, including compliance checks.
• Collaborate with developers to optimize code pipelines and scale our services as we grow.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years in DevOps or similar, with hands-on experience in cloud platforms, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong skills in Linux/Unix, scripting (Python/Bash), and infrastructure-as-code.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and security best practices in fintech or high-stakes environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication—able to explain tech simply to non-tech teams.
• Must be based in England (right to work in UK required; no sponsorship).
