ELEKS Human Capital Administration is looking for a Global Mobility Specialist in Kyiv, Central and Western Ukraine (remote options available).
REQUIREMENTS
- 1+ years of experience in Global Mobility, Immigration Law, International Employment, or other cross‑border compliance–related fields, or strong motivation to grow in this area
- Basic to solid understanding of immigration processes, including work permits, visas, and residence permits
- Basic understanding of international taxation, social security rules, and C2C calculations, and how they impact employee compensation across different countries
- Understanding of IT services principles and their specifics
- Experience working with documentation and/or international teams is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Upper‑Intermediate level of English or higher (written and spoken)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work as a team player, with adaptability and flexibility to collaborate across cultures and regions
- Understanding of commonly used office and collaboration tools (Jira, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Google Drive, Workday)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, International Economics, International Relations, International Affairs, or a related field

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and coordinate official employment, changes, and termination processes for international employees across multiple locations, ensuring full compliance with local labor laws
- Organize and handle all required employment and legal documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness throughout the employee lifecycle
- Coordinate and support visa, work permit, and residence permit processes for employees and, where applicable, their family members, providing end‑to‑end support
- Act as the primary point of contact for employees, managers, HR, recruiters, and other stakeholders on Global Mobility, immigration, employment, and termination‑related matters
- Conduct consultations with employees regarding immigration, employment, and related administrative or tax processes, including assistance with application forms and clear explanation of next steps
- Oversee and ensure ongoing compliance with immigration, labor, tax, and social security regulations across all supported countries
- Monitor changes in international immigration, labor, and tax legislation and proactively update internal processes, guidance, and documentation accordingly
- Provide support and basic guidance on international taxation, including double taxation, social contributions, and cross‑border employment implications
- Participate in and support compensation and C2C calculations, including taxes, social contributions, and other employment‑related costs, collaborating with relevant stakeholders
- Support various international employment arrangements, including short‑term assignments and other cross‑border employment structures
- Ensure accurate employee data management and provide required information for payroll, taxation, social security setup, and termination processes
- Track, maintain, and update case statuses in internal systems and databases (e.g., Jira, Workday), ensuring transparency and timely updates
- Prepare reports, analyze trends, and provide insights related to process efficiency, compliance risks, and improvement opportunities
- Prepare, monitor, and control expenses and reporting related to immigration, employment, termination, and related legal or administrative costs
- Communicate company policies, immigration requirements, and tax implications related to international employment to employees and stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with HR, Accounting, Legal, and other internal teams to resolve issues related to employment setup, immigration, onboarding, and termination
- Manage relationships with external vendors (immigration lawyers, tax consultants, CPAs), including onboarding and ongoing coordination
- Develop, maintain, and improve the internal knowledge base, policies, and process documentation related to Global Mobility and compliance
- Identify gaps in existing processes and initiate and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and employee experience
- Perform other Global Mobility, immigration, employment, and compliance‑related tasks as assigned
