About the Role

Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, you’ll play a key role in managing and maintaining IT infrastructure services across multiple data centres and office locations throughout Europe. You’ll ensure uptime, security, and best practice while driving improvements and efficiencies in how we deliver technology to the business.

This role suits someone passionate about innovation, automation, and proactive problem solving, who enjoys working in a multi-functional environment to make real, lasting impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure solutions across multiple data centres.
• Optimise performance and automate processes wherever possible.
• Manage and configure core infrastructure services, including backups, patching, firewall rules, and VM builds.
• Lead and support critical business projects and infrastructure upgrades.
• Respond to alerts, address vulnerabilities, and take action on SOC input and monitoring data.
• Be part of our on-call rota and occasionally work out-of-hours during planned maintenance.

What We’re Looking For

Experience:

• 4+ years’ experience in a similar Infrastructure role.
• 5+ years in an enterprise IT environment.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture and infrastructure operations.

Technical Skills (Essential):

• Hypervisors (VMware, Proxmox)
• Microsoft Windows Server (2019, 2022)
• Networking fundamentals (ACL, NAT, VPN)
• Backup solutions and storage management (Dell EMC, HPE Nimble, Dell Powerstore)
• Active Directory, Office 365 administration, and server hardware management (iLO, iDrac)

Desirable Exposure To:

• Azure, Intune, Ansible, Terraform, Linux (Debian/Ubuntu), Cisco/Meraki networking
• Monitoring tools (Vrops, Grafana, Nagios)
• ITIL practices, PCI compliance, disaster recovery, business continuity
