Role Description

This is a remote contract role for an AI Manga Motion Artist + Cinematic Animator. In this position, you will develop AI-enhanced motion artwork and cinematic animations inspired by manga aesthetics. You will collaborate with the creative team to transform concepts into visually stunning motion art, using AI tools and animation techniques. Your tasks will include storyboard creation, motion sequencing, character animation, and integrating audio elements for cohesive storytelling experiences.

We are looking for someone who understands how to transform still manga/anime imagery into emotionally powerful cinematic motion content.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in animation tools and techniques, such as Adobe After Effects, Blender, or similar software.
• Experience with AI-driven design tools and familiarity with integrating AI into motion artwork.
• Strong skills in cinematic storytelling and visual composition.
• Ability to create manga-style art, characters, and motion sequences.
• Strong conceptual and creative thinking for original content creation.
• Experience with audio integration and synchronization in animations is a plus.
• Proven ability to work independently and meet project deadlines in a remote environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Animation, Visual Arts, or related disciplines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality manga/anime still images using AI tools
• Animate scenes using motion workflows, parallax, camera movement, effects, and cinematic transitions
• Collaborate on short film concepts, scenes, trailers, intros, and visual storytelling
• Generate recurring characters and maintain visual consistency across projects
• Create dramatic cinematic anime-inspired visuals for music and film projects
• Work with AI creative platforms such as:

• Midjourney
• Runway
• Kling
• Pika
