About The Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Web Developer to join our Technology & Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications that support our core business functions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, operations staff, and project managers to deliver high-quality digital solutions that improve operational efficiency and user experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in innovative projects that utilize the latest web development technologies, including AI integration and automation tools. The successful candidate will initially work remotely from India, with potential relocation to Dubai or Oman after a successful probation period, to support onsite deployment and operational activities.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of two years of hands-on experience in full-stack web development, with proficiency in React, Laravel, React Native, HTML, CSS, and related JavaScript/PHP frameworks. A solid understanding of databases, version control systems such as Git or SVN, and web server management (Apache, Nginx) is essential. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required, or equivalent professional experience. Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or DigitalOcean, as well as an understanding of CI/CD pipelines and system testing, will be advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills within operational environments, an appreciation for UI/UX best practices, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively to meet project deadlines. Knowledge of OCR frameworks and an interest in AI, automation, and research-driven development are preferred. Flexibility to relocate and adapt to the Middle Eastern working environment, including liaising with onsite depot and yard teams, is also important.

Responsibilities

• Develop, automate, and maintain web applications and services aligned with business and operational objectives, ensuring adherence to performance standards and best coding practices.
• Collaborate with team leads and members to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure timely delivery of features and updates.
• Coordinate with UI/UX designers to maintain consistency in design and enhance user experience across platforms.
• Document product specifications, project progress, and technical procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and future development.
