About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior React Native Developer to join our dynamic engineering team at Nerdleveltech. This role is pivotal in leading our mobile development initiatives, driving the expansion of our mobile offerings, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for product quality, a strong understanding of architectural challenges, and a desire to take ownership of features that directly impact our users. You will collaborate closely with backend, product, and design teams to craft seamless user experiences and contribute to the evolution of our mobile platform.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess over five years of experience in mobile application development, with substantial expertise in React Native. Prior experience mentoring engineers through code reviews, architecture planning, and incident response is highly desirable. A strong understanding of mobile system design, component architecture, state management, navigation patterns, and performance optimization is essential. Candidates should have a proven track record of shipping and maintaining apps on both the App Store and Google Play, with hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and OTA updates using tools like EAS or CodePush. Deep knowledge of React internals, native module integration, and bridging for iOS and Android platforms is required. Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Sentry, OpenTelemetry, and crash reporting systems is also important. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate ownership of edge cases, failure modes, offline sync, and recovery UX. Experience in leading architecture or technical strategy for major features or entire mobile applications will set you apart. Maintaining high standards for clean code, SOLID principles, documentation, and maintainability is expected. Nice-to-have skills include experience in startup environments, scaling real-time architectures, designing shared component libraries, and enhancing mobile security and performance profiling.

Responsibilities

You will contribute to the development and delivery of new mobile product features, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and performance. Your role will involve maintaining and improving the existing React Native codebase, optimizing performance, stability, and user experience. You will define and evolve the mobile architecture, system design, and technical strategy to support scalable growth. Collaborating closely with backend, product, and design teams, you will help shape solutions that are robust and scalable. Ensuring reliability, performance, and observability standards on mobile platforms will be a key focus, including ownership of production debugging, incident investigation, and root cause analysis. You will guide improvements in build systems, CI/CD pipelines, release processes, testing frameworks, and app store deployment procedures. Supporting hiring efforts and mentoring junior team members will be part of your leadership responsibilities. Additionally, you will champion performance enhancements related to rendering, navigation, latency, memory management, offline behavior, caching, and real-time experiences, ensuring our mobile applications deliver a seamless user experience across diverse environments.
