About the Role

We are looking for a talented Japanese-speaking Paid Media Manager to join our growing digital marketing team. This is a remote UK-based role responsible for planning, executing, and optimising paid media campaigns targeting Japanese and international audiences across multiple digital channels.


The ideal candidate is highly analytical, performance-driven, fluent in Japanese and English, and experienced in managing PPC and paid social campaigns with measurable ROI outcomes.


Key Responsibilities


  • Plan, launch, and optimise paid media campaigns across:
  • Google Ads
  • Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram)
  • LinkedIn Ads
  • YouTube
  • Programmatic platforms
  • Manage budgets and pacing to achieve CPA, ROAS, CTR, and conversion goals
  • Conduct keyword research in both Japanese and English markets
  • Create campaign structures, audience targeting, and ad copy localisation
  • Analyse campaign performance and produce actionable insights and reports
  • Collaborate with creative, content, and analytics teams
  • A/B test creatives, landing pages, and audience segments
  • Monitor trends and competitor activity in the Japanese digital market
  • Ensure campaigns comply with platform policies and brand guidelines


Requirements


  • Fluent Japanese and professional English proficiency
  • Ideally 2+ yearsโ€™ experience in Paid Media / Performance Marketing
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Google Ads
  • Google Analytics (GA4)
  • Meta Ads Manager
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Proven experience managing six-figure monthly budgets preferred
  • Strong understanding of attribution, tracking, and conversion optimisation
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills
  • Experience working remotely and independently
  • Agency experience is a plus


Preferred Qualifications

  • Google Ads Certifications
