About the Role
Our Human Resources team is hiring a Sr. HR Generalist Consultant to support our portfolio of clients. This is a client-facing role for someone who already knows HR operations and compliance within the government contracting (GovCon) space, can work independently, and can deliver accurate, compliant work in a fast-moving environment. You will support multiple clients simultaneously, shifting between priorities, and be responsible for producing high-quality HR solutions from start to finish.
This role is a strong fit for someone who is comfortable owning HR assignments cradle-to-finish, can work through ambiguity, and knows how to balance compliance, quality, and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Client Services Delivery
- Partner with HR subject matter experts (SMEs) and consulting team members to design and implement scalable, cost-effective HR processes and protocols for client organizations.
- Provide comprehensive HR Generalist support to clients, proactively identifying opportunities to improve processes, policies, and employee lifecycle practices.
- Serve as the primary HR resource providing hands-on operational and strategic support across multiple client programs and projects, coordinating with BOOST HR consultants to manage workload priorities.
- Research and advise internal team members and clients on a broad range of HR matters, offering practical guidance aligned with HR best practices and applicable regulations.
- Evaluate and enhance onboarding and offboarding processes; prepare and lead new hire onboarding and orientation sessions for client organizations.
- Review offer letters and separation documentation to ensure compliance and consistency.
- Develop and refine job descriptions, maintain accurate HR documentation, and support benefits administration while ensuring adherence to client policies and industry standards.
- Review, revise, and recommend updates to employee handbooks to align with evolving employment laws and compliance obligations.
- Support HR assessments by organizing documentation, conducting research on client-specific HR challenges, and delivering insights and recommendations to SMEs and consulting teams.
- Assist with government contracting HR compliance activities, ensuring HR practices satisfy EEO-1, VETS-4212, SCA, OFCCP, and related regulatory requirements.
- Draft and deliver clear, professional HR communications for both internal and client organizations.
- Provide full-cycle recruiting support for a variety of clients, including job postings, prescreens, and candidate evaluations.
Client Engagement Management
- Collaborate with SMEs on client engagements to ensure client satisfaction and delivery of appropriate information and documentation.
- Build strong client relationships by understanding unique HR and compliance needs across multiple projects.
- Manage multiple assignments and deadlines across different clients and priorities simultaneously.
- Maintain organized workpapers and documentation so HR deliverables are well-supported, compliant, and audit-ready.
- Communicate proactively with internal team members and client leadership to ensure clarity and alignment.

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree required; SHRM-CP or PHR certification strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a government contracting environment.
- Advanced to expert proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of federal contractor reporting requirements (EEO-1, VETS-4212, SCA, OFCCP, etc.).
- Proactive, consultative approach with a client-service mindset.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality deliverables.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Independent judgment and decision-making skills for navigating complex situations.
- Flexibility to adapt to team and client needs while maintaining consistency and reliability.
- U.S. Citizenship required; active security clearance is not required.
