Job Description

About LYNXBYTE GAMES: We are a Polish studio that helps international publishers and developers turn existing and upcoming games into new commercial products - through console and mobile ports, remakes, remasters, and VR adaptations.

Why this role exists: LYNXBYTE GAMES is growing 500% y/y - we have a working outbound sales function and a solid client portfolio. What we're missing is a marketing function that will build a long-term pipeline independent of individual sales relationships, and establish LYNXBYTE GAMES as a recognizable brand in our niche. The strategic direction and market segmentation are already in place - your job is to validate the strategy, identify what can be improved, then move into execution, run day-to-day operations, and co-decide on tactical matters. You'll work directly with the sales team. Additionally, after Q2 we plan to gradually but meaningfully transform from a services company into a product company, where marketing will play a key role in reaching the right target audience.

About the role: Marketing works in tight integration with sales This is a building role, not a maintenance role. The first 3-6 months are intensive work on the foundations: writing the content for and rebuilding the website, implementing ABM, sales enablement, brand presence, and coordination with the outbound team. The first 3-4 weeks of your work are foundational: research, conversations with clients, an audit of current activities, and writing the first materials. We'll see real business results from marketing in months 2-3, and closed deals attributable to marketing in months 6-12 - that's how our sales cycle works.

Responsibilities:

Strategic and tactical marketing:

  • Running day-to-day marketing execution across three market segments (top-tier publishers, mid/small-market publishers, solo publishing developers)
  • Implementing and operationally running ABM in tight coordination with outbound sales - shared account lists, shared CRM, coordinated touchpoints
  • Tactical collaboration with the sales lead and CEO - daily calls, iteration based on data
  • Internal alignment with tech lead, project managers, and production team - gathering technical knowledge and data for marketing materials
  • Preparing the marketing budget proposal - allocation across channels, pricing of tools and freelancers
  • Monthly and quarterly business reports (pipeline, customer acquisition cost, ROI per channel)
  • Website, content, and materials:
  • Write the full content for the new website: structure, copy for each section, user flows
  • Iterate and optimize the website post-launch - conversion testing, new sections, updates
  • Prepare and maintain sales enablement materials: pitch deck, case studies, one-pagers, FAQs, segment-specific materials
  • Source content from clients for case studies - approvals, performance data, quotes, visual assets
  • Lead strategic technical content: long-form articles, white papers, technical commentary in collaboration with the tech lead
  • Prepare brand and visual identity guidelines - ensuring consistency across all materials (templates, decks, posts)

Acquisition and presence:

  • Run LinkedIn and other social media presence - company profile, sales & CEO profile, posting 2-3x per week
  • Drive lead generation for the indie developer segment - SEO/GEO, content, lead magnets
  • Run email marketing and nurturing - newsletters, post-event sequences, follow-ups
  • Develop a partnerships and ecosystem marketing plan — identifying key partners (platform holders: Sony/Nintendo/Microsoft preferred partner programs; tooling vendors: Unity, Unreal; agencies representing developers)
  • Set up a system for collecting reviews and testimonials (Clutch, G2, client referral requests) - managing trust signals on the website
  • Operations and analytics:
  • Set up and manage the marketing tooling stack (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM, ABM tools, marketing automation)
  • Maintain CRM hygiene and marketing operations - segmentation, tagging, workflows, integrations, reporting
  • Run weekly analytics and reporting - GA4, Search Console, CRM dashboards, KPIs per channel
  • Manage freelancers (copywriter, designer, developer, occasionally SEO specialist) - briefing, coordination, quality, deadlines

What we expect:

  • B2B marketing experience with hands-on execution of ABM campaigns and/or lead generation
  • Experience in B2B tech services - software house, IT services, development studio, creative services, or a comparable services business selling to international clients
  • Practical knowledge of ABM tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot or equivalent, account scoring and sequencing tools)
  • Strong English copywriting - LinkedIn sequences, posts, headlines, website copy
  • English language proficiency at C1 level (most materials and clients are in English)
  • AI-native workflow: you use Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools daily for content creation, client and competitor research, data analysis, and automation of repetitive tasks. If AI isn't part of your daily working toolkit - this role won't be a good fit. We'll ask about this specifically in the interview
  • You take a defined strategic direction and run with it - you don't wait for instructions on every tactical decision
  • (must have) Delivering on commitments and not pushing things off

Strongly preferred:

  • Personal passion for games and an understanding of the gamedev industry. Our clients are people who have lived and breathed games for years. Someone who plays themselves, follows new releases, understands the difference between a port and a remaster, knows why certification on Nintendo Switch is harder than on PS5 - won't need weeks to ramp up to our audience. Whether you play on console, follow the indie scene, or are interested from the technical side - this background translates directly into better marketing. It's not a requirement, but it counts more than you might think
  • Experience in gamedev, entertainment tech, or B2B creative services
  • Experience building marketing from scratch in a small or mid-sized company
  • Ability to independently close gaps in tactical strategy when clarity is lacking
  • Experience with conversion copywriting and conversion rate optimization

Who we're not looking for:

  • People seeking a purely strategic role without an execution component
  • Specialists in a single channel only (paid ads only, SEO only, content only, events only)
  • People with backgrounds primarily in B2C, e-commerce, FMCG, or generic B2B SaaS
  • People looking for an established team and mature processes to inherit
  • People who expect "quick wins" in the first weeks at the cost of solid foundations

What we offer:

  • 100% remote work, with occasional visits to Kraków
  • B2B/UZ/UOD contract, part-time (2-3 days/week) or full-time - depending on fit
  • Compensation depends on skills and expirience
  • After successfully completing the trial period - transition to a long-term contract, with the possibility of expanding to full-time or a Head of Marketing role
  • Tactical decision-making authority within the agreed strategy - not a role where every move requires approval
  • Separate budget for tools and freelancers
  • Direct access to the CEO and sales lead - fast decisions, no corporate layers

Recruitment process:

  • Application: Send an email or apply via LinkedIn following the instructions below.
  • Short test task (approx. 15-20 minutes of work)
  • Recruitment interview with the CEO and sales lead - deeper discussion of the task, strategy, and ways of working
  • Paid task/trial period
  • Final decision and start of collaboration

How to apply: Send an email to careers@lynxbytegames.eu with the subject line: Marketing Manager - [first name last name] including a short introduction about yourself or apply via LinkedIn. No long cover letters and no decks.

Please note that we will only contact selected candidates. Please include the following clause in your CV or message (if you've read this far, write what your favorite game is):

"I hereby give consent for my personal data to be processed for the purposes necessary to carry out the recruitment process in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR)."
