Software Validation Engineer for Satellite Control Centre

We are expanding our teams in the Space sector to take on projects such as Galileo: “The European GPS” within the AIV Satellite Control Centre team.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

Our team will help you understand how communication with satellites works, and you will have access to highly realistic simulators! This will allow you to work under the same conditions as operators and get the most out of the system.

In addition, you will be involved in the entire software validation process, from defining the initial tasks to delivering and accepting the final product, participating in:

• Requirements analysis.
• Defining and writing test procedures.
• Developing and configuring tools to automate testing.
• Communicating with customers and stakeholders.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

For this position, we are looking for engineering graduates with an interest in testing, validation, and test automation.

We will also value previous experience and knowledge in:

• Complex and distributed systems (Linux operating system).
• Knowledge of V&V-related tools (DOORS, Jira, Git, etc.).
• Programming languages such as Python.
• Test automation tools such as Robot Framework.
• Query languages for APIs such as REST or GraphQL.
• Participation in test campaigns: planning, preparation, execution, reporting.
