Location: 100% Remote (Client located in Indianapolis, IN)

Job Description

Are you passionate about safeguarding manufacturing environments from cyber threats? One of the country's largest companies is searching for an experienced OT Cybersecurity Analyst to join their manufacturing-focused team. In this role, you will directly support and enhance operational technology (OT) security, collaborating across plant operations and enterprise cybersecurity. Your expertise will bridge mission-critical communication and drive impactful improvements in industrial network safety, making this an especially exciting opportunity for those eager to make a tangible difference.

This exciting opportunity to fortify manufacturing security begins as a X-month W2 contract with potential for extension or conversion. Employment is 100% remote/hybrid/onsite (please specify location/onsite requirements). Benefits are included; if travel is required, it will be less than 10% and only to Indianapolis, IN. The manager seeks candidates ready to hit the ground running, with immediate start required.


  • Deliver practical OT cybersecurity analysis, tuning, and advisory support in manufacturing environments
  • Interpret findings from OT security assessments at plant sites
  • Collaborate with Vulnerability Management teams to pinpoint OT cyber risks including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, historians, and industrial networks
  • Assist Risk Management by providing OT risk insights using security tools and metric data
  • Fine-tune, normalize, and drive day-to-day operations through OT-specific security tools
  • Utilize OT security solutions to support network segmentation, zoning, remote access, visibility, and endpoint protection
  • Engage with Cyber SOC/Incident Response teams for plant-level investigations and incident triage
  • Proactively document OT risks, findings, and remediation recommendations based on tool insights
  • Align and communicate findings with IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82r3, NIST CSF, and CISv8 standards
  • Coordinate and bridge communications among Cyber, IT, Manufacturing-IT, and Business Units


Skill Requirements


  • 3–7 years of OT/ICS cybersecurity or industrial networking experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead challenging initiatives across large teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Expertise with Claroty xDome Security Visibility tools
  • Experience in OT secure remote access and segmentation techniques
  • In-depth knowledge of OT communications, assets, and protocols within manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with Purdue Model and OSI/TCPIP Model
  • Hands-on experience with secure remote access and OT visibility solutions
  • Knowledge of OT endpoint security systems
  • Ability to interpret OT visibility and monitoring responses
  • Skilled in translating OT vulnerability management data
  • Capable of working safely and independently in plant-based environments


Preferred Certifications

  • GICSP
  • IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Fundamentalist Specialist (or higher preferred)
  • CISSP
  • CompTIA Security+ (baseline), Cisco CCNA R&S/Security (preferred)
