This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere. The ideal candidate will use AutoCAD Civil 3D to create designs for land development, transportation, and public works projects. We are looking for someone who can work independently while collaborating with a team and possesses strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

What you'll do:

• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D for construction plan production and design tasks.
• Participate in design meetings with engineers and project managers.
• Create graphic materials for presentations and documents.
• Communicate effectively on design and plan production issues.
• Adhere to company CAD, file, and data management standards.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance production efficiency.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Prepare due diligence reports for potential projects.

What you'll bring:

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in CAD drafting, civil technology, engineering technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience using AutCAD Civil 3D for construction drawings.
• Proficiency in creating and organizing Civil 3D base files and sheet sets.
• Ability to develop profiles, corridors, and surfaces using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Understanding of plan production processes.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
• Experience with BlueBeam and civil engineering calculations are desirable.
• Knowledge of MicroStation Open Roads, excavation calculations using Civil3D, and SiteOps is a plus.
