We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our growing team and help ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of our platform offerings.

The Role

We are seeking a QA Engineer with strong manual testing capabilities and at least 2 years of proven commercial automation experience. The ideal candidate will have experience working on SaaS products within agile development environments and be comfortable collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and engineering stakeholders.

This role will involve end-to-end testing across web applications, APIs, integrations, and platform workflows, with a strong focus on improving automation coverage and release confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing
• Build and maintain automated test suites for web applications and APIs
• Work closely with development teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release activities
• Validate platform behaviour across different environments and deployments
• Conduct API testing and backend data validation

• Contribute to improving QA processes, standards, and automation frameworks
• Support CI/CD and release validation activities
• Assist with production issue investigation and verification where required
• Ensure high-quality releases across Praedico SaaS products and integrations

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of commercial QA experience
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on automation testing experience
• Experience testing SaaS or cloud-hosted platforms
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies and testing principles
• Experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar
• Experience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within distributed teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tooling
• Experience with SQL and backend data validation
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment environments
• Experience with GIS, analytics, or enterprise data platforms
• Performance or load testing experience
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure environments
