Compensation range: $1,800 AUD - $2,500 AUD / Monthly
Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement
Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the Australian business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration.

Role Overview: The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for implementing The Tailor's digital marketing plan across website, social media, email and paid channels. Working to the direction of the Marketing and Communications Manager, this role executes the day-to-day activity that brings the digital strategy to life, with a strong focus on website visibility, social media and the responsible use of AI tools to produce high-quality, on-brand content efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Execution
- Schedule, publish, and monitor social media content in line with the approved content calendar
- Manage daily community engagement, responding to comments and messages in a timely, brand-aligned manner
- Prepare and coordinate social media assets (resizing, captions, tagging, formatting)
- Track performance and produce regular reports on reach, engagement, and conversions
- Monitor platform updates and emerging features, flagging opportunities to management
- Implement website updates including copy, imagery, landing pages, and campaign pages
- Execute on-page SEO and GEO tasks (metadata, headings, alt text, internal linking, content optimisation)
- Conduct routine site health checks (broken links, speed, UX issues) and escalate where needed
- Support publishing of blogs, itineraries, and editorial content
- Coordinate with external developers, SEO specialists, and freelancers
- Build, test, and schedule email campaigns in line with the marketing plan
- Manage segmentation, subscriber lists, and basic automation workflows
- Monitor email performance (open rates, CTR, conversions) and report insights
- Ensure all emails are on-brand, proofed, and compliant with privacy and spam regulations

- Create short-form copy for social media, ads, EDMs, and website updates
- Develop basic visual assets using approved templates and tools (e.g. Canva)
- Use approved AI tools to support content creation, ensuring all outputs are reviewed for accuracy and brand fit
- Maintain organised digital asset libraries
- Use approved AI tools to support content creation, SEO, research, and workflow efficiency
- Review and refine AI outputs to ensure accuracy, tone, and brand consistency
- Identify opportunities to improve processes through AI and automation
- Stay updated on relevant AI and digital marketing tools
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and campaign performance reports across all digital channels
- Maintain dashboards and reporting templates for consistency
- Analyse performance data and provide actionable insights, not just metrics
- Support quarterly and annual performance reviews

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
