Job Role: Digital Marketing Coordinator

Compensation range: $1,800 AUD - $2,500 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the Australian business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote, so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: A privately owned, premium travel design company specialising in bespoke luxury travel experiences. They create fully customised itineraries for high-end clients seeking seamless, personalised, and exclusive journeys.

Backed by an experienced team and an established network of partners, they focus on delivering end-to-end travel planning with strong attention to detail, high-quality accommodation, and curated local experiences across multiple destinations.

Role Overview: The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for implementing The Tailor's digital marketing plan across website, social media, email and paid channels. Working to the direction of the Marketing and Communications Manager, this role executes the day-to-day activity that brings the digital strategy to life, with a strong focus on website visibility, social media and the responsible use of AI tools to produce high-quality, on-brand content efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Execution

  • Schedule, publish, and monitor social media content in line with the approved content calendar
  • Manage daily community engagement, responding to comments and messages in a timely, brand-aligned manner
  • Prepare and coordinate social media assets (resizing, captions, tagging, formatting)
  • Track performance and produce regular reports on reach, engagement, and conversions
  • Monitor platform updates and emerging features, flagging opportunities to management

Website Updates, SEO and GEO Execution

  • Implement website updates including copy, imagery, landing pages, and campaign pages
  • Execute on-page SEO and GEO tasks (metadata, headings, alt text, internal linking, content optimisation)
  • Conduct routine site health checks (broken links, speed, UX issues) and escalate where needed
  • Support publishing of blogs, itineraries, and editorial content
  • Coordinate with external developers, SEO specialists, and freelancers

Email and EDM Execution

  • Build, test, and schedule email campaigns in line with the marketing plan
  • Manage segmentation, subscriber lists, and basic automation workflows
  • Monitor email performance (open rates, CTR, conversions) and report insights
  • Ensure all emails are on-brand, proofed, and compliant with privacy and spam regulations

Content Production

  • Create short-form copy for social media, ads, EDMs, and website updates
  • Develop basic visual assets using approved templates and tools (e.g. Canva)
  • Use approved AI tools to support content creation, ensuring all outputs are reviewed for accuracy and brand fit
  • Maintain organised digital asset libraries

AI and Marketing Tools

  • Use approved AI tools to support content creation, SEO, research, and workflow efficiency
  • Review and refine AI outputs to ensure accuracy, tone, and brand consistency
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes through AI and automation
  • Stay updated on relevant AI and digital marketing tools

Reporting and Analytics

  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and campaign performance reports across all digital channels
  • Maintain dashboards and reporting templates for consistency
  • Analyse performance data and provide actionable insights, not just metrics
  • Support quarterly and annual performance reviews

General

  • Work closely with the Marketing and Communications Manager to execute priorities
  • Manage workload effectively and communicate risks or delays early
  • Ensure all outputs are on-brand, accurate, and proofed
  • Maintain records of work, assets, and systems access
  • Attend meetings and support cross-functional marketing needs as required


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in digital marketing, social media, content creation, SEO, or similar roles
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, scheduling, and engagement practices
  • Experience with website CMS updates and basic SEO/GEO execution
  • Experience in email marketing (EDMs, segmentation, automation, reporting)
  • Strong copywriting skills across digital channels
  • Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Express, or similar tools
  • Experience using AI tools for content and marketing support
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with Google Workspace, CRM tools, email platforms, and analytics tools


Work Arrangement & Expectations:

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.

To ensure alignment and transparency, successful candidates will be expected to:

  • Be available for meetings and collaboration during core [AEST (AU) or PHT] business hours
  • Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work
  • Reflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile (clearly marked as "Independent Contractor")
