About The Role

As part of the Technology & Operations team, the Web Developer will be responsible for developing cutting-edge functionality for new or existing enterprise web applications. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions that enhance our operational efficiency and customer experience. The Web Developer will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining web applications that support our logistics operations, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing the latest technologies to solve complex business challenges. The candidate should be adaptable, proactive, and eager to contribute to innovative projects that have a tangible impact on our global logistics network.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years of hands-on full-stack development experience, particularly with frameworks such as React, Laravel, and React Native. A strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP is essential, along with experience working with databases and code versioning tools like Git or SVN. Familiarity with web server management (e.g., Apache, Nginx) and cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or DigitalOcean is highly desirable. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent working experience, is required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of software development lifecycles, and a keen interest in UI/UX practices. Additional knowledge of system testing, automated testing, OCR frameworks, and CI/CD processes will be considered advantageous. Candidates should also have the willingness to relocate to Dubai or Oman after the probation period, approximately 12 months, if required, and be comfortable working within the Middle East working environment, collaborating with onsite depot/yard operation teams, logistics, and accounts departments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, automate, and maintain web applications and services to support business and operational goals, adhering to best practices for performance and code quality.
• Collaborate with team leads and members to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure consistency in application design and user experience.
• Document product features, technical specifications, and project information to facilitate ongoing maintenance and future development.
