- Back up HR team on HRIS transactions for assigned location.
- Follow up on missing or incomplete documentation for HRIS transactions.
- Assist in the development and execution of recruitment strategies.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate with hiring managers to select candidates.
- Conduct new hire orientations, benefit orientations, and other presentations as needed.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Assist in administration of workers’ compensation program for work-related injuries and illnesses.
- Responsible for reviewing and purging files upon employee termination.
- Support performance review process by providing training and guidance to managers and employees.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR files in accordance with legal requirements.
- Support tuition reimbursement and employee referral programs.
- Create, update and/or distribute reports as required.
- Participate in HR projects aimed at improving HR processes and practices.
- Demonstrate regular attendance and timeliness in reporting to work, meetings, and completing assignments.
- Ability to work and interact well with others.

Education: Bachelor degree in human resources, organizational development, business management or another related field is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a human resources role is preferred, if degreed. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a human resources role, if non-degreed.

- Basic knowledge of all applicable human resources regulations.

- Human Resource Information System (HRIS) systems experience, preferably Workday.
- HR related experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel to remote locations.
- Ability to maneuver manufacturing environments and navigate stairs as needed.
- Occasional time spent working a flexible schedule.
- Must demonstrate adaptability and responsiveness to off-schedule requests or emergencies in support of business-critical functions.
