Job Title: Frontend Software Engineer/ Product Engineer (AI Platform)

Location: New York City -Hudson Square (5 days onsite)

Compensation: $150K – $200K base + equity

About the Role:

We’re seeking a Frontend Product Engineer who combines strong engineering skills with a sharp product and design mindset.

You’ll be responsible for building and shaping the user-facing experience, working closely with product, design, and engineering to deliver polished, intuitive interfaces powered by AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain modern frontend applications (SvelteKit, React, Vue, or similar frameworks)
• Own frontend architecture decisions and scalable component design
• Write clean, type-safe TypeScript across the stack, including UI components and API integrations
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, research, and GTM teams
• Translate user needs into intuitive, high-quality user experiences
• Integrate commercial and custom AI models into seamless workflows

• Establish and scale frontend best practices, patterns, and design systems

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree from a top Computer Science/Software Engineer program. ( Coding Boot camps not acceptable in lieu of Bachelors degree)
• 2+ years of experience in frontend engineering, with a focus on modern web applications
• Experience with frameworks such as React, Vue, Svelte, or similar
• Strong product intuition and ability to make independent UX decisions and tradeoffs
• Proven ability to own features end-to-end, from design collaboration through deployment
• Experience working with design systems and scalable component architecture
• Strong attention to detail and passion for building polished, high-quality user experiences
• Startup experience building modern web applications
• Portfolio, GitHub, or product examples are highly encouraged.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience owning a project end- to- end with strong UI/UX.
• Building or integrating AI/ML- powered features
• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or utility-first styling frameworks
• Experience with performance optimization and bundle analysis
• Exposure to Kubernetes-based infrastructure
