Our client, a leading online marketplace, is looking for a dedicated Business Operations Manager - IT/ES to join their team. This is a fully remote role based in the UK, offering a unique opportunity to work on impactful projects while working from the comfort of your home.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with Country Managers in Italy and Spain to develop and implement strategies that drive the success of the platform in these regions. You will align various functions within the country behind common objectives and work on cross-border projects with other teams.


YOUR IMPACT:

  • Define and implement key operational initiatives with Country Managers to scale operations while maintaining top-tier quality standards.
  • Accelerate business growth by testing and unlocking new host and guest acquisition strategies.
  • Identify transformative product improvements to streamline operations and enhance guest/host satisfaction.
  • Lead regular business operation meetings and drive meaningful conversations with cross-functional project teams (field & online operations, marketing, product, legal) to keep key initiatives on track.
  • Present analysis, insights, and actionable plans to senior leadership to drive critical business decisions.
  • Support the leadership team in planning, budgeting, and defining long-term strategy.


YOUR EXPERTISE:

  • 3+ years of work experience, preferably with combined exposure to Management consulting and/or project management in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment
  • Hands-on approach, getting things done fast
  • Strong written and verbal communicator with excellent presentation skills. Fluent in English and either Italian or Spanish is a plus
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, marketing, sales operations, and enablement teams
  • Ability to take initiative and deal with uncertainties
  • Strong appetite for working with the Airbnb community
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task with excellent organization skills.
  • Pays attention to both details and macro-level outcomes
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ever-changing startup environment
  • Data-driven, can-do attitude, strategic thinker, and passion for new products and solutions.
  • Comfortable with Excel, SQL is a plus
