Head of Marketing


Role Purpose

The Head of Marketing will be responsible for the full commercial strategy of Hantec Trader - spanning marketing, sales channels (affiliates & partnerships), customer acquisition & retention, and regional expansion. This role carries full accountability for revenue growth, efficient marketing spend, and building a brand that scales globally in a highly competitive prop trading space.


Key Responsibilities

A. Strategic Responsibilities

Growth Planning & Execution

  • Own the commercial growth strategy and its execution. Responsible for managing the various areas of the business that feed into this: paid, brand, SEO, partnerships, content, CRM, etc.
  • Develop quarterly and monthly growth plans aligned with business objectives (revenue, retention, expansion, partnerships, etc.).
  • Propose, plan, and launch coordinated campaigns ensuring a balanced mix of short-term revenue-driving campaigns and long-term brand-building activities.
  • Design and optimize multi-channel marketing funnels to drive orders, increase conversion rates, and grow LTV.
  • Stay ahead of competitor and market trends, identifying new opportunities and products to sustain growth.
  • Identify and prioritize high-potential regions for growth and target with localized strategies.
  • Carry direct accountability for revenue growth and ROI on commercial activities.


Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Own the full tracking and analytics framework (paid ads tracking, Google Analytics, UTM structure, Hotjar, Power BI, dashboard reporting).
  • Define and monitor KPIs: orders, CAC, ROAS, LTV, conversion rates, AOV, website traffic, SEO performance, affiliate contribution.
  • Provide weekly/monthly performance reports to management, highlighting insights, risks, and actions.


Budget & ROI Management

  • Own the commercial budget, balancing spend across all marketing/growth activities.
  • Work to achieve minimum 5x ROI on paid activity.
  • Proactively reallocate spend away from underperforming campaigns.
  • Maintain a competitive average order value while optimizing rebuy and upsell strategies.


B. Sales & Affiliate Management

  • Define and oversee the affiliate and partnerships strategy, ensuring it drives scalable and sustainable revenue growth.
  • Direct the Affiliate Manager in building and nurturing commercial partnerships, collaborations, and influencer relationships in target markets.
  • Set commercial frameworks and approve terms, ensuring partnerships deliver strong ROI while supporting long-term brand advocacy.


C. Customer Acquisition & Retention

  • Oversee end-to-end customer acquisition funnels (TOF/MOF/BOF).
  • Manage email marketing, CRM, and marketing automation to drive repurchase and retention.
  • Build customer loyalty strategies around community, Discord growth, testimonials, payout transparency, and trader success stories.


D. Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and upskill the marketing/commercial team to deliver on growth priorities.
  • Run regular syncs to align strategy, manage execution, and resolve blockers.
  • Instill a performance-driven culture with clear KPIs and accountability.
