Manual QA Engineer (Contract-to-Hire)

Type: Contract-to-Hire (6–12 months)
Schedule: 40 hours/week

Pay Rate: $45–$50/hr (W2)

We’re hiring Manual QA Engineers to test and support web-based applications in a structured, process-driven environment. This role is primarily manual testing; candidates with mostly recent automation-only backgrounds may not be the best fit.

• Create and execute manual test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
• Perform API testing and validate integrations
• Document results, identify defects, and track issues through resolution
• Partner with developers/PMs in planning and release cycles

• 3–5 years in QA / software testing
• Strong manual testing experience for web applications
• API testing with tools like Postman or SoapUI
• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps (or similar test/defect tracking tools)
• Ability to do Backend testing with SQL
• Strong communication skills and ability to clearly explain testing work
