About Organimi

Organimi is a leading B2B SaaS company that provides intuitive org chart and organizational design software to businesses worldwide. Our product is built on top of AWS, and our fully remote team of approximately 15 people operates with an agile, high-impact culture where every team member makes a meaningful contribution. We are currently pursuing SOC 2 compliance and looking to strengthen our infrastructure, security, and internal operations as we scale.

Role Overview

This is not a traditional DevOps role. We are looking for a versatile, hands-on professional who can own and manage the intersection of cloud infrastructure, security compliance, and internal IT operations at Organimi. You will be the primary person responsible for our AWS environments, SOC 2 compliance program, employee IT lifecycle, and internal systems integration. This role offers a unique opportunity to make an outsized impact across the entire technology and operations footprint of a growing SaaS company.

The approximate breakdown of responsibilities is as follows:

• SOC 2 Compliance & Security (40%)
• AWS Infrastructure & DevOps (25%)
• Internal Systems Integration & Administration (20%)
• Internal IT & Employee Device Management (15%)

Key Responsibilities

AWS Infrastructure & DevOps

• Own and manage all AWS production, staging, development, and test environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
• Manage and optimize the MongoDB Atlas database environments across development and production.
• Own the availability metric and SLA for Organimi’s production systems.
• Review server performance periodically and scale infrastructure as needed.
• Mature and automate CI/CD release pipelines using modern tooling and best practices.
• Collaborate with QA/Release to ensure smooth deployments with no merge conflicts during launches.
• Manage configuration management practices with GitHub, enforcing best practices for branching, code review, and version control.
• Build tools to reduce errors, improve system reliability, and enhance the customer experience.
• Develop dashboards and monitoring tools for system status, health, uptime, and API usage.

SOC 2 Compliance & Security

• Lead Organimi’s SOC 2 compliance program, including completing SOC 2 Type I certification (targeting near-term) and ongoing Type II readiness.
• Manage compliance automation tools such as Drata, including configuration, automated testing, and controls monitoring of AWS infrastructure.
• Manage and track all technical and business process requirements for SOC 2 compliance, including policy review, adoption, compliance, and annual staff acknowledgements.
• Complete security training programs for all staff and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Provide regular reporting and analysis on security posture, threat detection, and vulnerability management.

• Conduct quarterly security reviews and make recommendations for improvements.
• Maintain team transparency with updates on security plans and rollout of security enhancements.
• Complete security questionnaires for prospects and customers, working with the sales team.
• Develop and enhance an AI-assisted Security Questionnaire tool (using Claude or similar) to automate and streamline questionnaire completion and build out the company’s security knowledge base.

Internal IT & Employee Device Management

• Manage the full employee IT lifecycle: onboarding (provisioning accounts, devices, and access) and offboarding (revoking access, recovering equipment, ensuring Company data deletion).
• Administer and enforce compliance policies for company-owned devices as well as BYOD (employee laptops and phones).
• Ensure all endpoints meet security and compliance standards required for SOC 2.
• Implement and manage password management tools and enforce security best practices across the organization.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal IT support and troubleshooting.

Internal Systems Integration & Administration

• Own the implementation, configuration, integration, and ongoing administration of internal business systems, including:

- Salesforce.com (CRM)

- ActiveCampaign (Marketing Automation)

- Stripe (Payments & Billing)

- Google Workspace (Productivity & Collaboration)

- Google Analytics & Mixpanel (Product & Web Analytics)

- LogRocket (Session Replay & Error Tracking)

- Atlassian Suite – Jira & Confluence (Project Management)

• Ensure all internal systems are properly locked down, optimized, and integrated to support cross-functional workflows across marketing, customer success, and engineering.
• Work with the Organimi API to develop tools and integrations with third-party software systems in use by Product and Sales and Marketing teams.
• Analyze visitor and customer data across platforms (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, LogRocket, ActiveCampaign, Stripe) to surface insights on customer acquisition and usage patterns.

Required Qualifications

• University or college degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, IT operations, or a similar technical role.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure management.
• Experience with SOC 2 compliance frameworks and compliance automation tools (Drata, Vanta, or similar).

• Experience working with SOC 2 Auditors and other Compliance and Security consultants.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git/GitHub workflows, and modern deployment practices.
• Experience managing internal IT operations including device management, onboarding/offboarding, and endpoint security.
• Familiarity with MongoDB or similar NoSQL database administration.
• Proficient with HTML, JavaScript, and modern web technology stacks.
• Self-starter who is comfortable working remotely as part of a virtual team, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work across business functions (marketing, customer success, and engineering).

Nice To Have

• Previous experience in a SaaS or subscription-based business environment.
• Experience administering Salesforce.com, ActiveCampaign, Stripe, or similar business systems.
• Knowledge of enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies and identity management.
• Experience with data analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or LogRocket.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted tools for productivity and automation (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.).
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or Security Specialty).
