NANO IT Services is a growing MSP based in Vancouver, BC. We don't just "fix computers" — we build proactive technology environments for professional services, healthcare, and construction firms. As we scale, we are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to own the technical integrity of our client infrastructures.
The Mission
You will be the lead architect of our proactive promise. You'll manage, maintain, and secure client environments through high-level automation, ensuring that problems are resolved before they ever impact the client's workday.
What you'll do
- Infrastructure Management: Proactively manage endpoints, servers, and networks using RMM (Remote Monitoring & Management) tools.
- Support & Ticketing: Resolve complex L2/L3 technical incidents within a PSA (Professional Services Automation) environment, adhering to strict SLAs.
- Security & Compliance: Manage EDR/AV security stacks, patch management, and identity monitoring. Ensure compliance with privacy standards (BC PIPA).
- Backup & Recovery: Oversee cloud and local backup solutions, performing regular restore tests to guarantee data integrity.
- Technical Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation for all client environments in specialized platforms.

Qualifications
- MSP DNA: Advanced knowledge of RMM and PSA tools (Datto, NinjaOne, ConnectWise, or similar)
- Ability to write PowerShell/Bash scripts
- PSA Proficiency: Experience using professional ticketing systems (e.g., Autotask, ConnectWise Manage, HaloPSA).
- Cybersecurity Stack: Hands-on experience with EDR/MDR, Anti-Phishing, and Identity Protection tools.
- Cloud Ecosystems: Strong experience with Microsoft 365 (Azure AD/Entra ID) and Google Workspace.
- English Fluency: Exceptional English fluency for high-level client interaction.
