About The Role

As part of the Technology & Operations team, the Web Developer will be responsible for developing cutting-edge functionality for new or existing enterprise web applications. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions that support our operational and business objectives. The Web Developer will play a vital role in enhancing our web platforms, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems, and supporting ongoing innovation within our logistics operations. The position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the digital transformation of a well-established organization, with potential for international relocation based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess at least 2 years of hands-on full-stack development experience, with proficiency in React, Laravel, React Native, HTML, CSS, and related JavaScript/PHP frameworks. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent working experience in a related field is required. Familiarity with databases, code versioning tools such as Git or SVN, and web server experience with Apache or Nginx is essential. Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills in operational environments, an understanding of software development lifecycles, and an appreciation of UI/UX best practices. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, cloud services like AWS or Azure, and system testing (including automated testing) will be advantageous. Additional familiarity with OCR frameworks and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are highly valued. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Dubai or Oman after a probation period of approximately 12 months if required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, automate, and maintain web applications and services to support business and operational goals while adhering to performance and quality code best practices.
• Collaborate with team leads and members to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure deadlines and objectives are met.
• Work closely with UI/UX teams to ensure consistency and quality in design and user experience.
• Document product specifications, project details, and technical processes to facilitate ongoing development and maintenance.
