Job Description
We are looking for a Silicon Photonics Engineer with a background in optical engineering or silicon photonics devices. You will be using optical and electrical test equipment (e.g., OSA, power meters, VNAs, probe stations) and Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), specifically utilizing Advantest's V93000 hardware and SmarTest 8 software. This role will be critical in developing, implementing, and optimizing test solutions for next-generation silicon photonics products. This will be a fully on-site role M-F at the San Jose office.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity with a starting base salary range estimated between $90K-$150K + 20-30% semi annual bonuses. Other benefits include medical benefits, health savings, 401k, monthly car allowance as well as paid vacation, paid sick time and paid holidays. Will offer relocation assistance to San Jose, CA if needed.

Must Haves:
- Degree with some optics or silicon photonics exposure
- Basic optics or photonics background. Not expert-level, but some familiarity with optical concepts (insertion loss, polarization, optical engines)
- Some programming experience - Python, C++, C# are all acceptable.
