The project and your role:

We are looking for an ML/AI Engineer / Data Scientist to help us build and test new AI ideas. You will work on a variety of projects across different industries, creating smart solutions to solve real world problems.

In this role, you will take AI concepts and turn them into working prototypes (Proof of Concepts). You will build data pipelines and use Generative AI (GenAI) to create modern applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and test Proof of Concepts (PoC) to explore new ideas in AI, Data Science, and Machine Learning.

• Prepare data and perform feature engineering to create high quality Python code that is ready for production.
• Design and implement machine learning pipelines and modern Generative AI solutions.
• Work closely with internal teams and participate in workshops with clients to understand their needs.
• Apply your AI and data knowledge to different industries and use cases.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in AI to ensure our solutions remain innovative.

Your skills:

Essential Qualifications (Must-Haves):

• Strong academic background in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a similar field.
• Practical experience building machine learning pipelines using Python or R.
• Hands-on experience with modern AI tools and libraries such as PyTorch, Transformers, CatBoost, and BERTopic.
• Deep knowledge of data processing libraries like scikit-learn, pandas, and numpy (or tidyverse).

• Solid understanding of statistics and the mathematical concepts behind machine learning.
• Professional experience with Generative AI topics, including LLMs, RAG, LangChain, and LlamaIndex.

Desired Skills & Knowledge (Nice-to-Haves):

• Experience working with distributed systems and scalable software architectures.
• Exposure to big data tools like Spark or advanced frameworks like TensorFlow.
• Experience with API development and integrating AI systems into larger software platforms.
