Your Role
As the IT Manager, you will be the go-to person for all IT-related matters, ensuring systems run smoothly and securely. You'll manage both Windows and Mac desktop environments, support a cloud-first approach, and keep the studio at the forefront of IT infrastructure trends. This full-time, in-house role offers the perfect blend of hands-on technical work and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Desktop and Server Management: Oversee Windows & Mac desktop environments, manage Windows Server configurations (including Active Directory, DNS, IIS, onsite, and Azure backups).
- Cloud Infrastructure: Handle Azure cloud-based environment, including virtual infrastructure, SSO configuration, Entra AD, and PID facilities.
- Hardware and Software Support: Provide PC hardware setup and diagnostic services, manage Microsoft 365 stack (Office, Teams, Exchange, Defender/Entra AD), and offer general software management and troubleshooting support (Adobe, Slack, Atlassian, Perforce Admin).
- Network and Security: Monitor and control networking (UnifiOS environment), firewall, VPN, and multi-WAN management. Advise on and implement cybersecurity and compliance best practices.
- Device Management: Manage device assets (Windows automation, iOS/Android device management) and possess some PowerShell/batch scripting knowledge.
- Building Security: Oversee IT-related building security, including CCTV and access control systems.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Cloud Technologies: Experience with Azure is crucial; AWS knowledge is a plus.
- Workflow Tools: Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
- Version Control: Knowledge of Perforce or similar technologies.
- Networking Tools: Proficiency in networking, firewall, and VPN management tools.
- CyberSecurity: Understanding of cybersecurity processes and technologies.
- Adaptability: Highly adaptable to the dynamic needs of an SME environment.
- Education: Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant IT-related field.
