Referment is partnering with a fast-scaling technology company building high-performance systems that process millions of real-world transactions daily. Their platform operates at significant scale across cloud and GPU-backed infrastructure, with a strong focus on reliability, performance, and efficiency.
This is a backend engineering role focused on building and optimising distributed systems, not machine learning.

- Strong experience designing systems that handle concurrent workloads at scale
- Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-based infrastructure
- Proven ability to measure, analyse, and improve system and API performance
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD, and containerised deployments
- Strong debugging skills across distributed systems
