Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of, and interest in, current Canadian farming practices and related technology
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with specialization in Mechanical and/or Design Engineering preferred
- Ability to take a leadership role on all product engineering aspects of assigned projects
- Experience with metal fabrication and the latest manufacturing techniques
- Experience and proficiency with FEA packages; ability to conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation and performance of mechanisms, components and systems.
- 2+ years of Mechanical Design experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with SolidWorks CAD [Mechanical 3D, Electrical 2D, Composer, EPDM], and Microsoft Office
- Willing to build a career and life in a rural setting and able to enjoy the many benefits of small-town life
- Interest in career development, including R&D and Project Management
