Contract | Fully Remote | Hourly Rate
We are looking for an experienced QA Tester / QA Specialist to support the testing of digital solutions built across Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint Online, WordPress, and modern AI-assisted web applications.
This is a remote contract role with an hourly rate compensation model. The successful candidate will work closely with developers, solution architects, and project teams to ensure solutions are reliable, secure, compliant, and ready for release.
What you’ll be working on
You will be involved in testing solutions across the following platforms:
1.Microsoft Power Platform & SharePoint Online
- Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, SharePoint Online/OnPrem
2. WordPress Websites
- Themes, plugins, forms, content workflows, and integrations.
3. Modern Web Applications
- AI-assisted / rapidly built applications using technologies such as Next.js, TypeScript, Vercel, Supabase, and payment gateway integrations.

- Create test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Perform manual testing across apps, workflows, websites, portals, and integrations.
- Validate functionality, permissions, roles, usability, data accuracy, error handling, and edge cases.
- Execute regression, integration, and UAT testing.
- Log, track, retest, and verify defects through to closure.
- Support release validation across Dev, Test, UAT, and Production environments.
- Build and maintain automated smoke and regression tests where practical.
- Create and maintain unit tests for modern web application logic.
- Produce test reports, defect logs, execution summaries, and quality updates.
- Contribute to overall release readiness and sign-off support.
Minimum experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a QA / software testing role.
- Proven experience testing Microsoft Power Platform solutions and SharePoint Online.
- Solid experience in manual testing, regression testing, test planning, and test case design.
- Experience testing WordPress websites.
- Experience testing modern web applications, including support for unit testing.
- Ability to work across multiple environments and support end-to-end testing through the delivery lifecycle.

Minimum qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant certifications
Candidates with one or more of the following will have an advantage:
- ISTQB Certified Tester (Foundation Level or higher).
- Microsoft PowerPlatform or SharePoint certification.
- QA automation certification.
Nice to have and advantageous
- Experience with test automation.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Exposure to compliance-driven environments.
- Experience testing document management, records management, or business process solutions.
