About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Web Developer to join our dynamic team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining websites and web applications that meet our clients' specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of software coding, web design principles, and user experience to ensure the delivery of high-quality digital solutions. The Web Developer will work closely with project managers, graphic designers, and other IT professionals to create engaging, functional, and optimized websites that support our clients' business objectives.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (College/CEGEP diploma)
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in web development or software programming
• Proficiency in programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP

• Experience with content management systems (CMS) and web development frameworks
• Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and SEO best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Write, modify, integrate, and test software code to develop functional websites and web applications
• Communicate technical issues, processes, and solutions clearly to team members and clients
• Prepare detailed reports, manuals, and documentation related to software operation and maintenance
• Source, select, and organize information to be included in website content, ensuring an appealing appearance and logical flow
• Create and optimize website content using various graphics, databases, animations, and other software tools
• Program interactive features and animations for CDs, DVDs, video game cartridges, and internet-based applications
