Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver network solutions for enterprise data centers, private cloud platforms, and public cloud environments
• Build, prototype, and validate network architectures through lab environments, POCs, and automation-driven implementations
• Develop and maintain reference architectures, standards, and design patterns for hybrid and cloud-native networking
• Integrate automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles into network solutions
• Design scalable and resilient data center networks using L2/L3, routing, segmentation, EVPN/VXLAN, and high availability principles

• Collaborate with cloud, platform, security, and application teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Create detailed design documentation and participate in architecture review discussions
• Evaluate emerging technologies in networking, cloud, and automation

Core Technical Skills

Data Center & Core Networking

• Strong experience in data center networking (Leaf-Spine architecture, SDN, automation)
• Expertise in BGP, MPLS, VPN, VXLAN, EVPN, and modern DC fabrics
• Experience designing core networks with high-capacity and long-distance connectivity
• Hands-on with Cisco ACI or Arista-based architectures

Kubernetes Networking

• Experience designing Kubernetes networking solutions
• Strong knowledge of CNIs such as Cilium, Calico, or OVN-K
• Understanding of BGP peering, ingress, traffic engineering, and load balancing for containerized applications

Cloud Networking

• Experience designing cloud connectivity solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Hands-on with Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, and Cloud Interconnect
• Familiarity with Network-as-a-Service providers like Equinix Fabric or Megaport

Automation & Programming

• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Experience with Terraform or Ansible
• Proficiency in Python or Go for scripting and automation

Observability & Troubleshooting

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, ThousandEyes, or Kentik
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills

Operating Systems

• Strong working knowledge of Linux
