Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

A private equity-backed healthcare technology company is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the next phase of growth, platform modernization, and product innovation.

This is a high-impact executive role responsible for both scaling current operations and driving a forward-looking technology strategy in a regulated environment.

The Opportunity

This is a pivotal leadership role at a company undergoing meaningful transformation.

The CTO will:

• Lead the evolution of a legacy platform toward a modern, scalable, cloud-based environment
• Drive product innovation, including emerging technologies and automation
• Oversee a distributed technology organization (onshore, offshore, and third-party resources)
• Partner closely with executive leadership and investors to support long-term value creation

This role requires a leader who can balance execution and transformation—ensuring stability today while building for the future.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technology and product roadmap aligned to business priorities
• Lead engineering, IT, and related technical functions to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions
• Drive operational excellence, including delivery velocity, system performance, and team effectiveness
• Oversee technology budgeting, vendor strategy, and resource planning
• Ensure security, compliance, and data integrity within a regulated environment
• Lead and develop a high-performing, globally distributed team
• Partner cross-functionally to enhance product capabilities and customer experience
• Support executive-level discussions related to growth strategy and long-term positioning

Ideal Profile

• Prior experience as a CTO, VP, or SVP of Technology/Engineering
• Background in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, financial services, enterprise software)
• Proven success leading platform modernization and/or cloud transformation initiatives
• Experience managing hybrid teams (onshore, offshore, and vendors)
• Strong financial and operational acumen, including budgeting and resource optimization
