- Monitors all phases of software development to ensure adherence to company, secure coding and other relevant standards. Designs, develops and maintains manual and automated frameworks, test suites and scripts with continuous integration, testing, deployment and delivery. Provides recommendations for software and related application design and usability improvements. Drives continuous process improvement in the evolution of testing procedures for future replication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define, develop and execute functional, regression, and integration testing for ServiceNow platform development across ITSM, HRSD, and Service Catalog modules.
- Validate JavaScript and ServiceNow Glide scripting for server‑side, client‑side, UI policies, business rules, and script includes.
- Test REST API integrations, ensuring request/response accuracy, authentication, data mapping, and proper error handling.
- Review and validate ITSM workflows, Service Catalog items, record producers, and fulfillment processes.
- Configure HRSD module and perform end to end testing as they apply to the Integrated platform under development
- Test User Criteria and HR Criteria configurations for correct access control, visibility rules, and role-based entitlement behavior.
- Support UAT planning and execution, providing clear documentation, test results, and post‑release validation for ongoing enhancements.
- Develops, enhances and maintains well-formed and scalable test frameworks. Apply automation testing techniques.
- Writes high quality documentation, identifying and recommending solutions to observed issues.
- Create and manage detailed test cases, test scripts, and test data aligned with Agile/Scrum ceremonies and release cycles.
- Evaluates new feature impact on existing tests; evaluates feasibility of new feature testing.
- Identifies, recommends and implements process improvements to enhance testing strategies.
- Prepares and estimates effort and timeline and prepares an overall test plan.
- Validate i18n (internationalization) configurations, ensuring translations, locale settings, and multilingual UI elements function correctly.
- Log, triage, and track defects within ServiceNow or external tools (e.g., Azure DevOps), collaborating closely with developers and product owners.
