Senior Analytics Engineer

We’re Hiring: Senior Analytics Engineer (Portugal-based candidates only)

We’re looking for an experienced Analytics Engineer to join our team in a fully remote role. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping how data is modelled, understood, and used across the business turning raw data into meaningful, well-structured insights that drive smarter decisions.

Our data platform is already well established, and we’re now focusing on:

• Building robust, scalable data models that make data intuitive and accessible

• Creating a well-governed data layer balancing performance, usability, and maintainability

• Exploring how to embed AI across the analytics lifecycle

• Designing data systems that enable LLMs to answer natural language questions effectively

• Design and maintain clean, structured data models for analytics and reporting

• Write efficient, scalable SQL to transform raw data into trusted datasets

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data answers real business questions

• Apply best practices in data modelling (while making smart trade-offs)

• Improve data quality, testing, and documentation

• Help shape how AI is used in analytics workflows

• Think critically about how data structure supports LLM-driven insights

• Strong SQL-first mindset

• Experience with dbt, SQLMesh, or similar tools

• Solid understanding of data architecture and modern data stacks

• Strong data modelling skills with practical trade-off awareness

• Experience with cloud warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.)

• Business-focused thinking — not just how data is built, but how it’s used

• Collaborative, curious, and open to learning
