About The Role

The Web Developer will be an integral part of the Technology & Operations team at Allied Container Group. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge web applications and services that support the company's operational and business objectives. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, operations staff, and management, to deliver reliable and scalable solutions. The position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects, utilizing modern full-stack development frameworks such as React and Laravel, and exploring emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and automation. The role requires a proactive approach, problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic working environment, including potential relocation to the Middle East after a probation period.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a minimum of two years of hands-on full-stack development experience, particularly with frameworks like React, Laravel, and React Native, along with proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and related mobile frameworks. Experience with databases and version control tools such as Git or SVN is essential, as is familiarity with web servers like Apache or Nginx. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field is preferred, though relevant work experience will also be considered. Fundamental understanding of software development lifecycle practices, UI/UX principles, and CI/CD pipelines is required. Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or DigitalOcean, along with system testing and automated testing, will be advantageous. Familiarity with OCR frameworks, system integration, and automation technologies is highly desirable. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, initiative, and excellent communication skills, with an interest in exploring AI and automation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, automate, and maintain web applications and services aligned with business and operational goals, ensuring high performance and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with team leads and members to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
• Work closely with UI/UX teams to ensure design consistency and optimal user experience across applications.
• Document technical specifications, project progress, and product features for future reference and knowledge sharing.
